I lived in Caeracca, My friends were Margery Jenkins who became Sister tutor of the Merthyr Hospitals, Maureen Thomas who now resides at St Fagan, and Kitty Jones later a member of Cyfarthfa Staff. We were four in the 6th form Welsh Class with Gareth Lewis who became Bishop of Belize and Dean of Llandaff Cathedral and Gwylim Lewis who became Head of a Comprehensive. We were taught by Havard Walters.
I taught in the first Comprehensive in Essex and later became Head of an Infant School in Shropshire.
I have two sons - Nic, CEO of Mining Industries in Africa, Australia and New Guinea. Rhys- Managing Partner in a Law Firm in 'The City'
I'am a retired farmer's wife living in Tregaron, a mainly Welsh speaking area.
